Cynthia Hawthorne Walker |  First Lady

 Minister and First Lady Cynthia Hawthorne Walker is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Hawthorne of  Pensacola, Florida her birth home. She attended the Escambia County Public Schools and continued to higher learning, receiving a B.S. degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education at the University of West Florida.  Lady Cynthia taught for several years in Pensacola, married Vernon L. Walker and moved to Jacksonville, FL. She continued her professional aspirations as a middle school teacher for the Duval County Public School System. She also works alongside her husband as his support system in ministry in the following areas:  Minister of the Gospel, Minister of Music, M.O.P Ministries (Mothers of Prayer), and a High School Youth Ministries teacher. 

 Lady Cynthia’s passion is leading people to the foot of the Cross and into the presence of God through Praise and Worship.  She works alongside her husband as his support system in the ministry in addition to challenging people to seek the face of the Lord daily through prayer, solitude with the Lord, fasting, and studying of the Word.
  Lady Cynthia is the proud mother of two special sons:  Vernon Jr. and Vernard Walker.
